(approx.) The Moondogs play in England for the first time . London, Action Space in "A Sense of Ireland" festival. The band went to see Slade play later that night.

(approx.) The Moondogs play a free outdoor show in Richmond Street, Derry . It was the only time the band performed "I'm into Something Good" by Herman's Hermits.

The Moondogs headlined the Come and Feel The Noise music festival, supported by Idol Threats, Corner Boys and Dick Tracy and the Green Disaster.

The Moondogs(sporting Modish garb for the craic) supported The Undertones who headlined the close of the Come and Feel The Noise festival. A brilliant raw and ecstatic crowd that felt the happiness of pure live teenage music that rocked Derry like never before. Gerry got a "Schoolgirl Crush" on the love of his life tonight! - later to be his wife - Rosemarie.

First T.V. appearance recorded in the El Greco Night-club, Derry for the" Roadshow Disco". The band played Two-Timed live and the show contained a 3 minute bio on the group. We were paid £10 each - not bad eh?

The Undertones and The Moondogs play the Rialto in Derry . Austin is on the piss and turns up a little late , Billy Doherty sits in on the drums for the first few songs.

The Undertones supported the Moondogs at Kelly's night-club Portrush.The Moondogs received £1000 for this. The money was used to support the band during the Undertones Humming tour the following May. Many thanks to the Tones again.
